Our relationship with Charley Izabella King from Bluebell Events is relatively short, having worked together for the first time in March 2019 for a wedding at Marina Del Rey Marriott Hotel. But from that single experience, we were so impressed by how on top of everything she and her team were.
Charley sent out the itinerary to us several weeks in advance and asked for our feedback and thoughts regarding the time that was available for photography. She also followed up after we’d had our final meeting with the couple to ensure that everything was smooth sailing.
It was a privilege to finally meet her in person for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding (with Charley even texting us to let us know about the parking situation). While we’ve only worked together once, it left a huge impression on us and we can’t help but recommend Bluebell Events to our couples.
Aside from being thoughtful and considerate in the way she deals with other vendors, Charley and her team at Bluebell Events really go the extra mile for their couples.
Throughout the day, they all had earpieces in to coordinate the logistics of what was quite a big wedding and even had someone designated to be with us and the couple throughout our portrait sessions. It makes a big difference to have an extra set of hands to fluff the bride’s dress and coordinate family formals, so to have this help (without asking) was a big plus.
Charley also had our well being in mind, making sure we had an opportunity to eat during the busy wedding day schedule and that we were ready to photograph before they proceeded. Sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference and Charley’s small gestures made a big impact on us! We hope that this first wedding in Marina Del Rey is the start of a long working relationship.
